Sometimes, an idea or gag for a comic strip comes out of a conversion with friends or family.  My brother Jim made this remark and I thought it was so funny I asked if I could use it in a comic strip.  He said it was okay.  That’s why you see a “thanks, Jim!” in the last panel.
