I think I could draw this comic strip in any year, and the gag would work.  Isn’t this so characteristic of any congress?  That’s all they ever do…spend our money.  Still, congress offes cartoonists a lot of mateial.  Problem is, with all their spending, it’s getting downright expensive!:)

It’s Groundhog day!  Let’s all hiope for an early spring.  Not that winter has been that brutal.  In myneck of the woods, it’s been, luckily, fairly mild (Ssshhhh!  No so loud!)

I did get the opportunity to grab my Asus Transformer Prime tablet and shoot some 1080HD video of an early Saturday morning snowfall.

This footage is right outside my studio. I stood beneath the overhang and shot a little bit of the scenery as the snow fell.  Make sure to toggle on 1080 to see how wonderfully crisp this video is.  You can see individual snowflakes!

Can you tell I’ve been doing some texting lately?  No, I don’t text and drive.  And really, niether should you.  But, I do my share of texting.  It’s a terrific way to stay in touch with family, frineds, and co-workers.

I like doing these little cartoon “switch” drawings. You think an object is one thing and it turns out to be another. These are fun to draw. Plus, I like drawing cartoony flying saucers and space aliens.

I needed a case for my Asus Prime tablet. I didn’t want to get the kind of case that are available for most iPads. These are very similar to book covers. The iPad snaps in and you open the case like a book to access your tablet.

Because the Asus Transformer has the ability to plug into a keyboard dock, I wanted a padded case that was going to accomodate both the tablet and keyboard, as well as, the charger and whatever other little devices (USB thumbdrives, Micros SD card adapters, etc.) I might need.

I pickee up a very good padded cover form Walmart. it’s by Swiss Gear and rally does a nice jjob. ther’s plenty of room for the Asus tablet and additonal room to accomodate the keyboard dock.  it also has a zippered pocket to house the charger, thumbdrives,, etc.

Dollar stores are becoming more and more commonplace. Ever see one being built? I drove past one twice a week as it was being constructed. It went up in what seemed like record time. Before you knew it, the store was stocked and ready for business. I guess seeing a lot of these stores pop up was the inspiration for this George comic strip.
