There’s a rumor going around that amazon.com will be releasing a color EInk reader in the second half of 2012. The above video gives you an idea lok at how this color EReader might look.

As far as I know, there are two coor EInk displays out there. Triton’s Coor EInk and a coor EInk by Mirasol. you can see the dfifference between the two in the below video.

Maybe this is why Amazon has been running a sale on it’s larger 9-inch Kindle DX. Could it be they are getting rid of DX inventory because they might be introducing a larger 9-inch EInk reader…with color?
