I never understood the “We all win, everyone gets a trophy” and “Play to a tie” attitude.   If everyone is going to win, why even have the contest?    Like Wiley asks, “Then why keep score?” I learned a lot from losing.   I learned perseverance, good sportsmanship, working to achieve a goal, and working to be the best.
