Besides my comic strip George<\/em>, I really enjoy creating cartoon game panels.\u00a0 And, I draw four of ’em for georgetoon.com<\/a>.\u00a0 So,\u00a0 I thought I’d share another game panel feature here on the blog. (And yes, I use Linux<\/a> to help digitally create and edit the feature!)<\/p>\n

Word Pile<\/em> is a fun word building cartoon game panel. It’s fairly straightforward.\u00a0 It features a fun cartoon drawing with jumbled letters.\u00a0 The cartoon gives a hint for at least one of the answers.\u00a0 Take the jumbled letters and start forming words.\u00a0 You pile<\/strong> each word on top of another in the supplied blanks. That’s it!\u00a0 But make sure to read the directions<\/strong> as there is always a different minimum of letters you are allowed to use in forming the words.<\/p>\n

I like to think that this is a great feature for teachers to help kids build vocabulary.\u00a0 If you’re a teacher, feel free to download the cartoon, print out, and hand out to the kids.\u00a0 The answers are just below.<\/p>\n
