\"radio\"<\/a>When I’m at the drawing board or in front of my Linux<\/a> computer, I like to fill the air with some background sound.\u00a0 That usually means turning on the radio.<\/p>\n

As I’ve mentioned before,<\/a> I love listening to the radio when I’m drawing or pounding out the latest blog entry.\u00a0 I guess because television requires that I stop and look up from what I’m doing.\u00a0\u00a0 Radio doesn’t.\u00a0 All I have to do is listen.<\/p>\n

I mostly listen to talk radio and news.\u00a0 And I like listening to my music collection.\u00a0 However, that collection of CD’s sits fairly idle due to internet radio.<\/p>\n

Internet radio has become my mainstay here in the studio. It brings in about 15,00 stations of all genres from around the world via the <\/a>Reciva database system.<\/a><\/p>\n

If you’re interested in getting an internet radio I can recommend\u00a0 two. The Sangean WFR-20 WiFi Internet Radio & Media Player<\/a>\"\" is a terrific radio with glorious stereo sound quality.\u00a0 A little pricey, but the rich sound and exquisite finish of the radio make it worth the few extra coins.\u00a0 It fits in with any decor.\u00a0 It won’t disappoint.\u00a0 If money is an issue, the\u00a0 Grace Digital Wireless Internet Radio featuring Pandora and NPR (GDI-IR2000)<\/a>\"\" is a nice budget choice.\u00a0 It has terrific mono sound and easy to use controls. It’s a nice, affordable introductory internet radio.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

One of the 15,000 I stumbled upon is a terrific internet radio station called Martini In The Morning.<\/a> You can find them at http:\/\/www.martiniinthemorning.com.<\/a><\/p>\n

If you’re like me and enjoy listening to vocalists like Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Dean Martin<\/span>, Nat King Cole, The Rat Pack, etc., then this is the station for you!<\/p>\n

MITM morning plays all the great vocalists and standards, but they also offer newer voices on the music scene today like Michael Bubl\u00e9, Harry Connick, Jr., Diana Krall, and Steve Tyrell.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n
