Happy Thanksgiving! \u00a0You probably have some time on your hands today as you wait for the turkey and dressing to cook. \u00a0Why not try a new graphics editing software application?<\/p>\n

It’s called Aviary Feather. \u00a0It’s easy to use and \u00a0free with the Google Chrome<\/a> web browser.<\/p>\n

If you\u00a0haven’t\u00a0already tried Google Chrome<\/a>, stop off at their site and install this terrific browser. Linux<\/a> users can install Google Chromium<\/a> from their respective repository.<\/p>\n

Once you have Google Chrome, simply go to the Chrome store and install Aviary Feather from the productivity area.<\/p>\n

Aviary Feather is meant to be an easy one step photo\u00a0editing\u00a0solution. \u00a0It comes with many intuitive adjustment tools at your immediate disposal and ready to go.<\/p>\n

Just upload a photo and start editing.<\/p>\n

Aviary Feather also has a few fun filters you can play with. \u00a0I used the “Instant!” filter on the above left photo. \u00a0(That’s me with legendary Australian cartoonist Jim Russell<\/a>. \u00a0If you want to\u00a0learn\u00a0more about this\u00a0wonderful\u00a0cartoonist and gentleman, check out Steve Panozzo’s tribute page to Jim<\/a>.) \u00a0The filter turns your digital photo into one that may have been taken by an old Polaroid Instant camera<\/a>.<\/p>\n
