I took a break form the drawing board and decided to sit back and catch a flick. \u00a0My brother Tom has been telling me about “Ant-Man” for some time now. He said it was a really terrific and entertaining movie \u00a0He was right! \u00a0“Ant-Man” is one fun movie ride!<\/p>\n

Now, if you haven’t seen the movie, I highly recommend you do. \u00a0Because, there are spoilers<\/strong> ahead. \u00a0So, if you haven’t seen the movie, STOP READING RIGHT NOW! \u00a0<\/strong>Rent or buy the movie, watch it, then come back here to this blog post. \u00a0I’ve come across something in the movie that I think was placed there on purpose. \u00a0I thought it was pretty amazing.<\/p>\n

I watched\u00a0the movie on Amazon. \u00a0They have a terrific streaming service and their X-Ray feature is really\u00a0cool. \u00a0X-Ray allows you to drill down into the film’s production notes. \u00a0It gives you the film’s cast and all kinds of background information on movie scenes, trivia, movie goofs, etc. \u00a0You can watch the movie on Amazon by clicking the link below.<\/p>\n

Ant-Man (Theatrical)<\/a>\"\"<\/p>\n

Okay, so if you’re still reading this, it means you’ve seen the movie. \u00a0(And I know you enjoyed the heck out it, too!)<\/p>\n

SPOILER ALERT\u00a0<\/strong>(Just in case).<\/p>\n

During the movie, there is a discussion of the sub-atomic world. \u00a0 \u00a0Dr. Hank Pym warns Scott Lang not to mess with the regulator on the Ant-Man suit. \u00a0Once you go smaller than an ant, you’ll enter the sub-atomic world. \u00a0If you go sub-atomic, there’s no coming back. \u00a0You end up in the sub-atomic world for eternity. \u00a0Dr. \u00a0Pym goes on to explain how his wife, known as The Wasp, went sub-atomic during a mission to save the world from a nuclear missile. He spent ten years after that trying ot get here back.<\/p>\n

So, during the climax of the movie, Ant-Man goes sub-atomic in order to defeat the bad guy. Our hero makes it back, though and explains to Dr. Pym that he saw no traceof The Wasp.<\/p>\n

Or did he simply miss seeing her?<\/p>\n

While he’s floating through the sub-atomic world, lots of particles, flashes of lights, etc. go flying by. \u00a0I swore I saw The Wasp during this sequenc. \u00a0so, I went back and went through the flick pausing and playing until I got to the frames in question. \u00a0I then snapped them with my tablte straight from the HDTV screen (the fastest way of getting the info up here). \u00a0And make sure to click the photos to see a larger, higher definition image.<\/p>\n

Okay, at left is the first screen grab. Clearly, you can see the silhouette image of\u00a0The Wasp. \u00a0The head, torso and wings are pretty clear.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, several seconds later,\u00a0\u00a0it cuts to Ant-Man’s helmet. \u00a0There are a couple of reflections here. Either one, or both (it’s a sub-atomic world reflected on a helmet, after all), lend another clue. \u00a0You can start to see the image of the same sort of silhouette emerge. \u00a0It may not be clear in this photo, but you can see the head form just left of the helmet’s white reflection. \u00a0Also, you notice above Ant-Man’s right eye what appears to be, perhaps, a pair of legs?<\/p>\n

\"antman03\"<\/a>Then, almost instantly, it dissolves into the same similar figure from that first screen grab. \u00a0A full figure with wings.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So, I think The Wasp is there in the sub-atomic world. \u00a0Michael Douglas has even said he’d like his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones to play The Wasp in an upcoming sequel (I got that little bit of info from the Amazon X-Ray feature along with comments regarding his digital face-lift.)<\/p>\n

I think the folks at Marvel have left the breadcrumbs and hints pointing exactly in this direction.<\/p>\n
