Vikings Blade Chieftain Safety Razor – Odin Limited Edition<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This morning I used my Odin razor<\/a> and had an absolutely awesome shave!\u00a0 The Odin<\/a> is a limited edition version of Vikings Blade famed Chieftain safety razor.<\/a>\u00a0 It was such a great shave, I just had to update my blog!<\/p>\n

The Chieftain<\/a> hits that “sweet spot” as I like to call it. It’s not too mild, yet not too aggressive.\u00a0 The Chieftain<\/a> gives you a really close shave after only two passes and a wonderful nick free, irritation free, BBS shave after three!<\/p>\n

For the morning shave,\u00a0 I loaded a Personna Blue razor blade<\/a> into the Odin’s razor head<\/a>, twisted the butterfly doors shut, and went to the business of building lather.\u00a0 \u00a0My soap of choice was “What the Puck?!” Shaving Soap by RazoRock (the Orange Sunrise Scent)<\/a>.\u00a0 It’s a triple-milled hard soap that built a rather nice creamy lather after about 30 seconds of brush loading.\u00a0 Due to this soap’s hardness, in retrospect, I probably should have given the brush load an extra 30 seconds.\u00a0 Still,the later was good and dense enough.\u00a0 However, it was a good thing I used the Odin<\/a>.\u00a0 The razor is efficient yet forgiving.<\/p>\n

After three passes, my skin was so very smooth!\u00a0 I finshed it off with La Toja after shave splash<\/a> and La Toja after shave balm<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All in all, a really terrific shave!<\/p>\n

When it comes to my morning shave, I like to rotate soaps and creams.\u00a0 so tThe next time I around, I’ll lather up with Vikings Blade Sandalwood and Cedar shaving cream <\/a>\"\"(or their Black Ocean<\/a>\"\").\u00a0 The extra slickness is wonderful!\u00a0 The razor just glides across the skin.<\/p>\n

I’ve used a lot of safety razors and the Chieftain\/Odin<\/a>\"\" is the one that I keep reaching for.\u00a0 When I want to change things around, that’s when I usually grab the Vulcan<\/a>\"\", the Chieftain’s long handled big brother.<\/p>\n
