I still don’t know how Google did it, but tey managed to grab some of my cartoon pics and video off my tablet and make an “Auto-Awesome” movie. Despite the one flipped image (not sure how that happened), it’s pretty darn cool!
By the way, I use a Nexus 7 from Google (7-Inch, 32 GB, Black) by ASUS (2013) Tablet.
The really great thing about it this tablet is the updating of the OS. Google fully supports all updates to Android. Whenever a new version of Android comes down the pipeline, Google makes sure that Nexus has it ASAP. You’ll always be running the latest and greatest version of Android on a Nexus tablet.
In an earlier post where I discussed cartooning tools, I mentioned the VuPoint PDS-ST442PE-VP Magic Wand III Portable Scanner. I use this device whenever I’m away from my studio and don’t have access to my large flatbed scanner. It comes in quite handy and does a great job. Here’s a video showing the scanner in action.
Here’s a quick video I did on the drawing process, tools, etc. when creating my comic strip George. I made this video right before I switched brand of blue pencil. As mentioned in an earlier post, I now use the Ticonderoga Erasable Checking Pencils, Eraser Tipped, Pre-Sharpened, Set of 12, Blue (14209). But try both and use the one you find to be most comfortable. I continue to test drive different pens and pencils. Even if I may not adopt them to draw my comic strip, it’s still a fun process to try new tools.
