After cleaning and sanitizing, I had a chance to use this Gillette Super Speed form the 1940s. It appears to be from the year 1948 or 1949. Gillette didn’t start putting date codes on their razors until 1950 (or thereabouts). So, 1948/1949 is the closest estimation. My thanks to the guys on the Badger & Blade forum for helping to identify the manufacture date.

The razor is wonderful! I highly recommend adding this 1940s era Gillette to your collection!
