This is a quick demonstration on how I use and adust the Vikings Blade Crusader Adjustble Safety Razor.

An adjustable razor meant for shaving enthusiasts, it’s quite easy to understand how mild or aggressive the razor is set. I use a very simple method of 1/8 or 1/4 quarter turns.

Viewer Dcc357 adjusts his Crusader this way: “‘I’ve learned that I can use clock positions. The dial does not turn a full 360 from the lowest setting. It stops at about the 10 o’clock position. This makes the 12 o’clock position the most mild, and the 10 o’clock position the most aggressive.

” As I hold the dial with my thumb and index finger, I make sure my thumb is underneath those arrows above the dial at the mildest setting (this marks the 12 position). My thumb acts as an indicator for the clock position as I turn the dial. It’s a pretty good way of making your own aggression levels.”
