Is it me or are more people playing the lottery these days?  And I hear folks say that they would be happy winning a few thousand rather than the multi-million dollar jackpot.  As this strip illustrates, I guess winning something is better than nothing.

    Oh yea… the line ups at the lotto counter in the mall are long as ever ! Sometime I wonder how in the name of ___ can some people afford to gamble away their pension money !

    Next time around, I should post a poll to see how many George/Georgetoon readers play the lotto.
