Who hasn’t taken in their car for a repair only to be informed that it’s going to cost much more than originally anticipated?  For me, the only good  thing to come out of this kind of situation is a comic strip idea.   That and an  Oldsmobile repaired  so often that it now has 254,000 miles.  My mechanic could probably visit London more than once.
